We received so many fabulous and awesome works, very hard to choose from, so we need everyone's help with voting.

As soon as our last admin casts her votes for her top 8  works, we will post our selections for the group to vote on.

What Is This Contest?
I haven't hosted a contest in a long while, so I thought long and hard about what theme I wanted. I could go with the obvious, or I could do something else. I chose the latter. The theme I decided upon is Diabetes Awareness.
Diabetes affects 9.3% of the America's population... Imagine how many are affected throughout the world. A good portion of these people who are affected, go on undiagnosed. It is the seventh leading cause of death in America. There is no cure, though it is controllable under the right circumstances.
I am newly diagnosed with the disease, and it is very frightening at first, especially if you are going through it alone for the most part like I am. I have

  Contest will run from:
Sept 9, 2015 - October 15, 2015

  THE THEME IS:
 Mirror Portal


  It must be a scene depicting a mirror into another world.

   It can be any genre, so if you want to make dark, or fantasy or surreal, JUST DO IT!
There must be TWO worlds, one on either side of the mirror.
  You can submit up to two works

ATTENTION

*Do I really have to say that it is a photomanipulations contest?*

ALL stocks must be from DeviantArt, this is to make it fair for those who cannot afford or have access to outside stock
sites.

  ALL stocks must be properly linked in your description, to the actual image used, NOT the stock artist's profile.

    You MUST put a link or thumb to this journal Contest and Group Events Update and state it is for the Mirror Portal contest

If using your own resources, you MUST notate in the description that you used your own personal stock.

There is a a folder in the group submissions titled "Mirror Portal", that's where you submit your entry.

And please please please pleaseee don't submit your normal works in that folder, it is just for the contest entries! So pay attention when you submit your works!
